When trying to find a cover image for my book, I was skeptical I would be able to find one to fit my needs. "Nigerian Genocide: Christian Persecution 2014" had to appeal to different people in different venues. It had to stand out in print and on the internet. I wanted to convey horror without being over the top. I wanted to show the Christian aspect as well as the horror of death. I wanted to catch people's eye without turning them away, but at the same time, convey that what was happening in Nigeria was real and deadly. I learned about SelfPubBookCovers.com and just had to check it out! I really like the concept of having a unique book cover. Also, being a nature girl, I was fascinated by a couple of covers I saw and just had to buy them right away before someone else did. One was for a book I previously published but was dissatisfied with the cover; the other was for an idea I had and thought the cover would be a perfect fit. I shouldn't have been surprised to learn both covers were designed by the same artist.
